This is a copy of my self published book FOR MY MOTHER. It is a compilation of my poetry and writing. This whole chapbook was a self creation- from the poetry editing, to the graphics, printing, and assembling of the chapbook. The chapbook is broken down into three sections: 19 & depressed, seeking love, and family.

people will forget
I learned that people will forget
they’ll forget birthdays
they’ll forget laughs, cries, hugs
they’ll forget I’m a poet
they’ll forget how much I love the community
they’ll forget how much I am not okay with:
bitch, faggot, you’re stupid.
they’ll forget about my heart breaks
they’ll forget about the times 
my mother always made sure 
the house was welcoming 
they’ll forget what it means
to be a friend
they’ll forget that the purpose in life
is not pussy- but people
la gente
they’ll forget my very existence.
